UPDATE- After much back and forth, over the course of 4 days, they finally admitted they were wrong and dropped the carpet charges. I received my final statement in the mail with a $0 balance. However, I'm leaving this review here because I am not happy with how they handled the situation- very unprofessional staff.
I was so frustrated while living here. The rent is insanely expensive for a 1 bedroom apartment. The appliances are outdated, the flooring in the kitchen is tile, but it's so stained and grimey looking. The flooring in the bathroom and laundry room, is linoleum and is peeling up, and looks dirty and old. The office staff are all rude. They act like you're bothering them if you come in or call. When we moved in, the carpet in our apartment had stains all over it, smelled musty and moldy, and was coming up in places. I wrote down the carpet problem on the move in form to document that we didn't cause these damages, and I made a verbal complaint at the office in person. Now that we've moved out, they're trying to charge us for it!! This is complete BS! They should've changed the carpet when the old tenants moved out, before we even moved in. Especially, after I had a conversation with one of the office staff who told me they charge such an expensive pet fee because they change the carpet every time a tenant moves out. BS! Trust me, I'll be fighting this ridiculous bill. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
